FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE

FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE

1 cup water                                                                     
1 cup sugar
1 heaping TBSP corn starch
1 pkg strawberry jello (3 oz)
1 pound fresh strawberries
1 baked pie crust or graham cracker crust
Cool whip for topping.
In sauce pan add water, sugar and cornstarch.  Heat until thickens.  Remove from heat and add jello until dissolved.
Cool!   Strawberries:  remove stems, wash and cut strawberries into bite size.
When sauce cools enough, add strawberries and pour into pie shell.  Cool in refrigerator until set.
Add cool whip on top and ENJOY!
